Welcome to SynRouter. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SynRouter’s websites, services, proxies, gateways, and APIs (the “Service”). Please read them carefully before using our Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

SynRouter provides a session-aware inference routing proxy and API management console built for AI agents and developer teams. The Service optimizes token consumption, reduces cost, and integrates caching layers on top of third-party large language models (LLMs) like Anthropic, OpenAI, or OpenRouter. SynRouter acts as an intermediary, proxying and mutating API requests to optimize caching and compress costs.

2. Accounts and API Keys

To use the routing proxy, you must create a SynRouter account and generate API credentials (API Keys). You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API Keys, account logs, and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or credentials.

3. Usage Credits, Payments, and Billing

The Service operates on a pre-funded credit-based system. To run inference, you must pre-purchase credits via the dashboard. All fees and purchases of credits are billed in USD, and credit transactions are final and non-refundable unless otherwise determined by SynRouter. SynRouter scales cost metrics based on actual upstream Usage plus lightweight caching management overhead, which are subject to dynamic real-time change.

4. User Restrictions and Compliance

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate upstream providers’ (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI) acceptable use policies or terms of service.
Launch malicious attacks, bypass safety filters, or generate harmful, deceptive, or toxic content.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or cause unauthorized system disruptions to the SynRouter proxy gateway.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SYNROUTER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERRORS-FREE, ACCURATE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SYNROUTER, ITS AFFILIATES, OR PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING UNEXPECTEDLY OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
